Seventeen years of building in Canterbury.

Pringle Homes is a family-owned design and build company working across Christchurch and the wider Canterbury region. We have been building here since 2009, through the Christchurch rebuild and the growth that followed. Many of the people who started with us are still here today.

Many of our clients have built before. By the second time around, they usually know exactly what matters.

Clear communication. Honest pricing. Familiar faces. And knowing the people you start the journey with will still be there when the home is finished.

That is how Pringle Homes is built to work.

Design, pricing and site management sit under one roof. The person who prices your home stays close to the numbers as the build progresses, and the people managing your project are right here in Canterbury.

It keeps things connected, personal and accountable from the first conversation through to handover.

Dreamed by you, handcrafted by us.

Why us

Four things we will not compromise on
01

One team, one contract

Design, pricing and construction under one roof, so nothing is passed between companies.

02

Fixed pricing

Fixed-price contracts are based on your selections, with variations quoted in writing before the work is carried out.

03

The same faces

You know who you’re dealing with from the start, and those people stay involved through to handover.

04

Built above code

Warm, dry and quiet as standard, with Homestar certification available on request.

Recognised for the standard we build to

We are proud to have our homes recognised through House of the Year.

For Aaron, the value is not in the badge. It is independent recognition of the standard we expect from every Pringle home, whether anyone is judging it or not.

A warmer, drier house costs less to run for the next forty years.

We build above code as a matter of course, not as an upsell. Thermally broken joinery, continuous insulation and mechanical ventilation are in our standard specification, and we will model the running cost of your house before you sign.

For clients who want it verified, we build to Homestar and are members of the New Zealand Green Building Council.
